Description of this Stalin Propaganda Poster
Dating from 1950, this propaganda poster was drawn by Nina Nikolaevna Vatolina (1915-2002) where Stalin is thanked by children "for their happy childhood" (the text indicates Russian also indicates "Thanks to our dear Stalin for our childhood happy !"). It was used on a banner during a parade on Red Square and its slogan was used by Pravda to comment on the visual of Stalin carrying the little girl Gelia Markizova in his arms with a bouquet of flowers.
