Description of this Snow White Poster
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a 1937 American animated feature film produced by the Walt Disney Company and based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale.
The film is considered one of Walt Disney's most popular productions. Although it was announced by the studio as the first animated feature film, it is in fact the first American production of the genre, after the eight others mentioned, the first of which was filmed in Argentina (Peludópolis de 1931).
In a fairytale land there lives a beautiful girl called Snow White. One day, she meets Prince Florian, with whom she falls in love. Snow White's stepmother is jealous of the young girl's beauty, so she makes her wear rags and do the worst jobs. Expecting praise, she asks the magic mirror every day who is the most beautiful in the world. When she hears one day that Snow White is the most beautiful, she becomes furious and sends the judicial hunter Humbert to kill the young girl in the forest.
The Huntsman spares Snow White's life and tells her to escape into the forest. The girl makes friends with the animals, with the help of which she finds a hiding place in a small hut, the inhabitants of which turn out to be seven dwarves working in the mine: Mędrek, Wesołek, Apsik, Gapcio, Gburek, Nieśmiałek and Spioszek. When they return home, they find Snow White and, having learned her story, they agree to put her up in a cabin.
The queen, having learned through the mirror that Snow White is still alive, becomes furious and decides to kill the young girl herself. With the help of a magic drink, she transforms into a hunchbacked witch and poisons one of the apples, with which she goes to the dwarves' cabin to give to Snow White. The girl tastes the fruit and then falls asleep. The dwarves discover Snow White's corpse and set out in pursuit of the witch, who dies following a fall into a chasm. Wanting to respect Snow White's beauty, the dwarves arrange for the young girl to be buried in a crystal sarcophagus.
One day, Florian arrives in the forest and wakes Snow White with a kiss. The couple lived happily ever after.
