Description of this My Name Is Nobody Poster
My Name is Nobody is a 1973 spaghetti western comedy, international Italian-French-German co-production, starring Terence Hill and Henry Fonda. The film was directed by Tonino Valerii based on an idea by Sergio Leone.
The film tells the story of Nobody (Terence Hill) who tries to convince his idol Jack Beauregard (Henry Fonda) to take on the Wild Bunch band of outlaws.
Jack Beauregard is an aging sniper who wishes to retire peacefully in Europe. After seeing him quickly shoot down three armed men who were trying to ambush him in a hair salon, the hairdresser's son asks his father if anyone in the world is faster than Beauregard, to which the hairdresser replies: "Faster than him? Nobody!" Beauregard stops to observe a poor fisherman before continuing towards an old gold mine. There he finds his friend Red, dying after a gang attack. Beauregard asks Red where "Nevada" is, but Red only manages to reveal Nevada's village before dying. At a horse relay, three men ask Red to deliver a basket to Beauregard, inside which he converses with him, revealing his detailed knowledge of Beauregard's exploits. He throws the basket outside where the bomb that was hidden inside explodes. The tramp introduces himself as "Nobody". He idolizes Beauregard and wants him to end his career in style by single-handedly facing all 150 members of the Wild Bunch. The bandits use a worthless gold mine to launder the gold they have stolen. Sullivan, the mine owner who is their cover, believes that Beauregard is trying to kill him, so he tries to kill him first.
Arriving at the village of Nevada, Beauregard finds Nobody there who reveals to him that Nevada Kid, Beauregard's brother, is dead. Nobody tries again, in vain, to convince Beauregard to attack the Wild Bunch. Arriving in a town, Sullivan hires Nobody to kill Beauregard, but Nobody instead helps Beauregard eliminate Sullivan's men. The Wild Bunch go to town to collect sticks of dynamite, which they hide in their saddlebags.
Later, an old man tells Beauregard that he was bought out by his partners Nevada and Red in a worthless gold mine, but the mine later produced a lot of gold. Beauregard rushes to the mine and catches Sullivan loading bags of gold powder. Sullivan offers Beauregard Nevada's share, but Beauregard tells him that he doesn't care about his brother and that he is just taking two bags, as well as $500 to pay for his passage to Europe. He then leaves to take a train to New Orleans.
No one steals a train that is being loaded at a station with gold bars, guarded by soldiers. Beauregard is waiting at the bottom of the line when the Wild Bunch charges toward him across a featureless plain. No one arrives with the train, but refuses to save Beauregard until he "writes his name in the history books." Remembering the mirror conchas on the gang's dynamite-filled saddlebags, Beauregard shoots these conchas and eliminates most of the gang until Nobody lets him board the train.
