Description of this Witness Film Poster
“Witness” is a gripping thriller directed by Peter Weir, released in 1985. The story takes place in a peaceful Amish community, where young Samuel Lapp witnesses the brutal murder of a police officer. The ensuing investigation leads Inspector John Book, played by Harrison Ford, to take refuge with the young boy and his widowed mother, Rachel, played by Kelly McGillis, within the Amish community.
