Description of this Negrita plate
Dating from 1910, this famous illustration of Négrita rum comes from the artist Albert Dorfinant. Created in 1886 by Bardinet, a French alcohol distributor, La Negrita was quickly referred to simply as "Negrita". In the visual , we can observe the West Indian waitress who appears on all bottles of Negrita, which is still used on current bottles.
