Description of this Wing Or Thigh Film Poster
“The Wing or the Thigh” is a French comedy film directed in 1976 by Claude Zidi and starring the famous actor Louis de Funès. The plot revolves around Charles Duchemin, a famous food critic and owner of a renowned food guide, who is in conflict with his father, the owner of a fast-food chain called "La Maudite". Duchemin's father wants his son to take over, but Duchemin prefers to concentrate on his work as a gastronomic critic.
Things become complicated when Duchemin learns that La Maudite intends to launch a new fried chicken recipe that threatens the reputation of French cuisine. To prevent this, Duchemin decides to fight in secret against his father and joins forces with a talented young chef named Gérard, played by Coluche. Together, they seek to create a new chicken recipe that will surpass that of La Maudite.
