Description of this Les Tontons Flingueurs Film Poster
“Les Tontons Flingueurs” is a French film released in 1963, directed by Georges Lautner. The plot of the film revolves around a former gangster named Fernand Naudin, played by Lino Ventura, who is now a wealthy businessman. When his friend dies, Fernand Naudin agrees to watch over his daughter, Patricia, and manage her affairs. However, things become complicated when his friend's nephew, Louis, appears and claims part of the inheritance. Louis, who is a disreputable man, seeks to take over all of his uncle's business, including Fernand Naudin's business. The two men then enter into conflict, leading to a series of comic twists and action scenes. The film is also known for its choice cast, including Bernard Blier, Francis Blanche, Jean Lefebvre and Venantino Venantini, as well as for its famous original score composed by Michel Magne. “Les Tontons Flingueurs” is today considered a classic of French cinema and remains a reference in the genre of police comedies.
