Created especially for the PLM railways, this Chamonix tourist advertisement from 1905 comes back to life in the form of a vintage metal plaque . It is the creation of Abel Faivre, a French artist from Paris mainly famous for his newspaper illustrations. We see a skier descending the slopes of Brévent in a leisurely manner. We notice that she barely glances at the slope, which nevertheless leans steeply. As we can see, she shows elegance as opposed to prudence.
