Description of this Original Bambi Poster
Bambi is a 1942 American animated film, based on the novel of the same name by Felix Salten, and the 5th Disney film. It was directed by David Hand and produced by Walt Disney. The screenplay was written by Vernon Stallings, Norman Wright, Perce Pearce, Chuck Couch, Larry Morey, Melvin Shaw, George Stallings and Ralph Wright, with music by Frank Churchill and Edward Plumb. The film was produced by Walt Disney Productions and distributed by RKO Pictures. The film is a musical drama. The animated feature and its score were nominated for an Academy Award.
It was released in the United States on August 13, 1942, in Hungary on July 27, 1961, and in a new Hungarian version on June 4, 1993.
The story begins with the birth of Bambi, the little deer calf. It follows his first steps, his first words, his first adventures. We see how he learns about the world around him, with the help of his mother and his little friends, Toppancs the rabbit and Flower the badger. Contrary to popular belief, Bambi is not a deer, but a white-tailed deer or an American deer, not to be confused with a deer.
She experiences the danger that the hunter represents for her, then the grief she feels at the loss of her mother. But he is not left alone, because his father, the great duke of the forest, takes him in and raises him. In his youth, love caught up with him. Like a deer, she fights for the one she loves, and after successfully escaping a forest fire, she starts a family of her own.
